The “Custom Widget” widget gives guests clear information that is available whenever they need it. A freely designed widget with title, icon and formatted text for everything that doesn't fit elsewhere.
How the Custom Widget widget works
As a host, you can finish the setup in just a few minutes:
Add the widget
Add the “Custom Widget” to your property in the dashboard.
Choose title and icon
Give the widget a title, for example “Important Information”, and choose an icon.
Write the content
Write the text in the editor and format it with the toolbar. You also insert images and links there.
Check the preview
Check how the text looks for guests in the preview, then save.

The widget is built directly into the accommodation’s digital guest guide. Guests open GASTiNFO.EU via the QR code or their personal link.

All settings at a glance
With the custom widget you write freely what your guests should know, for example notes about the pool, the sauna or dogs. You format the text as in a word processor. Title and content are required.
- Widget Title *
- The heading of the widget, for example “Important Information”. Required, up to 100 characters with a counter. A translation icon next to it lets the title appear in other languages for guests.
- Widget Icon
- The widget symbol. “Change Icon” opens a large selection; the chosen icon is shown under “Current”.
- Content *
- The text itself (required). The toolbar offers three heading levels, bold, italic, underline and strikethrough, numbered and bulleted lists, text and background colour, alignment, links, images and a button to remove formatting. Images can be PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP and up to 5 MB. The content has the translation icon too.
Visibility
- Show in QR Code
- Visible to guests who scan the QR code (public access)
- Show in Secure Link
- Visible to guests with the secure link (token access)
