The “Devices with QR code” widget gives guests clear information that is available whenever they need it. Operating help for one appliance with its own sticker QR code, for example for the coffee machine or the oven.
How the Devices with QR code widget works
As a host, you can finish the setup in just a few minutes:
Add the widget
Add the “Device” widget to your property in the dashboard. You create a separate widget for every appliance.
Enter name, icon and content
Give the appliance a name, choose an icon and write the instructions. You can also add an image and a PDF.
Save and download the QR code
Save the appliance and then download the QR code.
Print and stick on
Print the QR code and stick it on or next to the appliance. Scan it with your phone as a test.

The widget is built directly into the accommodation’s digital guest guide. Guests open GASTiNFO.EU via the QR code or their personal link.

All settings at a glance
You create one widget per appliance, for example for the coffee machine or the oven. For each appliance you generate a QR code that you stick on. Guests scan it and see the instructions straight away. A name and at least one piece of content (text, image or PDF) are required.
- Device name *
- The name of the appliance, for example “Coffee machine”. Required, up to 100 characters with a counter. If automatic translation is set up, a translation icon appears next to it.
- Device icon
- The appliance symbol. There are 24 symbols to choose from, for example coffee machine, washing machine, microwave, TV, heater or air conditioning. The default is a plug.
- Instructions (text)
- The instructions as text, up to 2000 characters, for example “1. Fill water, 2. Add coffee, 3. Press the button”. The translation icon is available here too. Do not enter codes or passwords, the QR code is not protected. Use the key safe widget for that.
- Image
- A photo guests see below the text (JPEG, PNG or WebP). “Replace” swaps it, the bin icon removes it.
- A PDF file, for example the original manual. Guests see a button that opens the PDF (secure link only). “Replace” swaps it, the bin icon removes it.
- Provide at least text, an image or a PDF
- At least text, an image or a PDF must be filled in, otherwise the appliance can't be saved.
- Download QR code
- Appears once you have saved the appliance. Downloads the QR code as a PNG. It is valid for this appliance only and opens the guest page with the instructions expanded. Print it and stick it on the appliance. If the appliance is hidden for the QR code, the window warns you, because the QR code would open nothing.
