The “Key Safe” widget gives guests clear information that is available whenever they need it. Location and code of the key safe for self check-in.
How the Key Safe widget works
As a host, you can finish the setup in just a few minutes:
Describe the location
In the dashboard, describe in up to 100 characters where the key safe is.
Enter the code
Enter the current code. It is required and can be changed at any time.
Photo and visibility
Optionally add a photo, and switch off the QR code if the code should only be visible via the secure link.

The widget is built directly into the accommodation’s digital guest guide. Guests open GASTiNFO.EU via the QR code or their personal link.

All settings at a glance
These are all the fields of the key safe. Only the code is required. The code is visible to anyone who may open the widget, so switch off “Show in QR Code” if the QR code is posted publicly and use the secure link instead.
- Location
- Where the safe is mounted, at most 100 characters, for example “Left of the front door”. If automatic translation is available, you can have the text translated into your guests' languages.
- Code *
- The numeric code of the safe (required). Guests see it at the very top, with each character in its own box.
- Key safe image (optional)
- A photo so guests find the safe quickly (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB). It appears below the code and location at full width. The trash icon removes it again.
Visibility
- Show in QR Code
- Visible to guests who scan the QR code (public access)
- Show in Secure Link
- Visible to guests with the secure link (token access)
