The “Link” widget gives guests clear information that is available whenever they need it. A button with your own link, for example to your website, menu or booking page.
How the Link widget works
As a host, you can finish the setup in just a few minutes:
Add the widget
Add the “Link” widget to your property in the dashboard.
Choose title and icon
Give the widget a title, for example “Restaurant Website”, and pick a fitting icon.
Enter text and link
Write a short text if you like and enter the page address starting with https://.
Test the button
Click the button in the preview and check that the right page opens.

The widget is built directly into the accommodation’s digital guest guide. Guests open GASTiNFO.EU via the QR code or their personal link.

All settings at a glance
The link widget shows guests a button that opens a web page of your choice. Title and link are required.
- Widget Title *
- The widget name guests see, for example “Restaurant Website”. Required, up to 60 characters with a counter. If automatic translation is set up, a translation icon appears next to it and guests read the title in their language.
- Widget Icon
- The widget symbol. The default is a chain symbol; “Change Icon” lets you choose another one.
- Short Text
- Optional, up to 150 characters. The text appears above the button, for example a short explanation of what guests will find there. The translation icon is available here too.
- URL *
- Required. The address must start with http:// or https://, otherwise the notice “Please enter a valid URL (e.g. https://...)” appears. Guests see a button “Open” that opens the page in a new tab.
Visibility
- Show in QR Code
- Visible to guests who scan the QR code (public access)
- Show in Secure Link
- Visible to guests with the secure link (token access)
