The “PDF Document” widget gives guests clear information that is available whenever they need it. A custom PDF document guests can open or download directly.
How the PDF Document widget works
As a host, you can finish the setup in just a few minutes:
Add the widget
Add the “PDF Document” widget to your property in the dashboard.
Enter a title
Give the widget a title, for example “House Rules (PDF)”.
Upload the PDF
Upload the PDF file (up to 20 MB) and check the preview.
Choose icon and colour
Choose a fitting icon and colour, then save.

The widget is built directly into the accommodation’s digital guest guide. Guests open GASTiNFO.EU via the QR code or their personal link.

All settings at a glance
With the PDF widget you give guests a document of your own, for example house rules, a menu or a day-trip plan. You can add the widget more than once. Title and PDF are required.
Document
- Widget Title *
- The widget name guests see, for example “House Rules (PDF)”. Required, up to 120 characters. If automatic translation is set up, a translation icon appears next to the field and guests read the title in their language.
- Upload PDF *
- The PDF file you upload (required). Only PDF files up to 20 MB are allowed. After uploading you see a preview and can remove the file with the bin icon. You are asked before it is removed, because that can't be undone. Guests see the first page as a preview and a round button that opens the whole PDF in a new tab.
Appearance
- Widget Icon
- The symbol shown in the widget. “Change Icon” opens a selection with many symbols; the chosen name is shown below.
- Icon Color
- The colour of the symbol. Pick it from popular colours or choose any colour.
Visibility
- Show in QR Code
- Visible to guests who scan the QR code (public access)
- Show in Secure Link
- Visible to guests with the secure link (token access)
